“Life is not taking in only, it is giving out too.”

Alpha Sigma Alpha values giving back to our community and amazing organizations.

Our Philanthropies

DOT Days

Dot Days is a special week for Alpha Sigma Alpha. We donate our time for a week by participating in various service opportunities every day. In the past we’ve had members participate in blood drives, make toys for the dogs at the local Humane Society, and spread positivity across campus. This year, we participated in a blood drive, Feed My Starving Children, hosted a Can Drive, and helped stock shelves at our Local Food Shelf!

Fundraising

  • Fundraising is a great way for our chapter to make money that can be used to pay for members to attend leadership conferences, travel for our retreats, and host more fun events.

  • The ASA Foundation is a national philanthropy that raises money for members in need or scholarship opportunities. Fundraising directly benefits our campus’s chapter and its members and can be used to put on more fun events that are not necessarily a necessity.

  • This is a new ability for our chapter so we’ve only bagged groceries for shoppers at the local Cub Foods. However, we are looking at future opportunities like selling popcorn, holiday specialties, and more!

  • Friends, family, and even kind strangers can reach out to our Finance Director about how to donate money to ASA. You can find all position holder’s contact information (including our Finance Director) on the Contact Page!
