Adopt a Highway
Every semester, we clean a portion of the highway in the Mankato community to help our environment and make it a better place!

Girls on the Run
Every semester, we raise money for Girls on The Run or participate in the marathon by cheering on the young girls who are participating in the race!

ASA Foundation
Each semester, we host events that raise money for the ASA foundation to help our fellow sisters in times of need or provide scholarships!

Special Olympics
Each semester, we either raise funds or participate in the Polar Plunge so Special Olympics athletes have opportunities to participate in sports!

Dinner For Heroes
Every semester, we cook a meal for first responders and spend time learning about what they do on and off the job, and making sure they feel appreciated! We love our Mankato heroes!
DOT Days
Dot Days is a special week for Alpha Sigma Alpha. We donate our time for a week by participating in various service opportunities every day. In the past we’ve had members participate in blood drives, donate food to the can drive, and spread positivity across campus. We love participating in service and giving activities both on and off campus!
Fundraising

Fundraising is a great way for our chapter to make money that can be used to pay for members to attend leadership conferences, travel for our retreats, and host more fun events.

The ASA Foundation is a national philanthropy that raises money for members in need or scholarship opportunities. Fundraising directly benefits our campus’s chapter and its members and can be used to put on more fun events that are not necessarily a necessity.

This is a new ability for our chapter so we’ve only bagged groceries for shoppers at the local Cub Foods. However, we are looking at future opportunities like selling popcorn, holiday specialties, and more!
